🌿 Meaning of the Logo

1) A Person Pushing a Cart : It represents the purpose of the Durbar Shnong Lawjynriew in leading and pushing the shnong towards growth and development.
2) Monolith : It stands for one country one nation.
3) The Tree : It specifically represents the Dorbar Shnong Lawjynriew.
4) Eight Roots : It represents the 8 localities (Dong) of the shnong. The branches of the tree symbolize the different working bodies of the shnong, all coming together and cooperating for the betterment of the community.
5) Infinity Sign : It signifies continuous progress and the never-ending dedication and loyalty to the responsibilities entrusted to members of the shnong.
6) Ladder : It represents the connection between different points, bridging gaps and differences between the Dongs, and bringing them together as one united community.
7) Map : At the base of the tree lies the map of Durbar Shnong Lawjynriew.
8) Jynriew/Jyrmi (Vines) : It is a sign of protection and also reflects the close and harmonious relationship between humans and nature.
9) Green Leaves : They symbolize happiness, renewal, and the ongoing development of the shnong.
10) Sky Blue Colour : It represents discipline, truth, obedience, patience, love, and protection.
11) White Colour : It stands for peace and unity within the community.
12) Red Colour : It symbolizes courage, strength, and a brave spirit.
13) Black Colour : It represents determination and reflects the preservation and passing down of our traditional cultural heritage as a people.
14) Brown Colour : It symbolizes the rich and natural essence of the earth.


“Ka Lawjynriew — where tradition meets tomorrow.”

🏡 Dorbar Shnong Lawjynriew — The logo encapsulates the spirit of the village: rooted in Khasi customs (the pineapple and stone), embracing all eight localities (dots), and looking forward to progress (green and open design). It was adopted on 6 Nohprah 2008 along with the constitution.
